Prof. Dr. Erich Pummerer is chairman of the supervisory board of the Tyrol Equity AG. Following his education in electrical engineering he studied Business Administration at Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck. Since his postdoctoral studies and habilitation Dr. Pummerer is a member of the department of Accountancy, Taxation and Auditing at the University of Innsbruck. He is author of several publications amongst which books on taxation, accounting and company valuation.
Besides his academic career Mr. Pummerer is a qualified tax accountant as well as a member of the board of examiners at the chamber of public accountants and tax advisors. He holds non-executive positions on several supervisory boards and is a managing shareholder of ”Gesellschaft für Prüfungsforschung und Unternehmensberatung GmbH”. Additionally, Mr. Pummerer is managing arbitration proceedings.
